About Project Lift Off
Project Lift Off is a series of free workshop series offering free certificates to elevate your career to the next level. Learn about interesting careers and education pathways in STEM/STEAM fields. Then, choose an in-demand online certificate that interests you with the help of workshop facilitators. Start your certificate with a cohort of supportive peers, mentor guidance, and a proven study skillset. Meet in-person twice a week during Phase 1 then every other week during Phase 2.
Free food at each workshop, every participant gets a free tablet and case upon completing Phase 1, and earn a $20 Amazon gift card for each day you participate in Phase 2! How to Attend

Each workshop is FREE. Participants are welcome to attend virtually from home or in-person from the COVID-compliant community locations. The dates for each location are on the flyer.

To attend Virtually, we use the Zoom video-calling platform. No software download is needed, you can "join meeting from the browser" (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox).

The Zoom link and instructions for each workshop will be posted on this website and on the home page. Just go to http://steamdiscoveryproject.org and the link will be there.
Free Pizza + $360+ in Rewards

Each workshop will have free food. Signups help us plan to have enough food.

Participants that complete Phase 1 will receive a new tablet & case. Rewards total worth over $360! For each workshop in Phase 2, participants will receive $20 Amazon gift cards.

Please note that there is a very brief exit survey we will ask you to complete at the end of the workshop. The exit survey helps us learn how to improve the workshops, and that information is what helps keep this program free of charge.
