Star Tech Global Academy
To enhance the pipeline for STEM diversity, Star Tech Global Academy uniquely provides Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education and support to at-risk, underrepresented youth using our innovative Star Tech Fleet for mobile workshops.
Star Tech Global Academy is a nonprofit initiative of the 501(c)(3) Renaissance 21. All donations are fully tax deductible.
Spotlight: The Coders' Club
at Garfield Teen Life Center!
Star Tech Global Academy collaborated with education partner Garfield Teen Life Center to host a Coder's Club workshop in Fall 2019. Each student successfully completed a website for our local community partner Nevzat's Espresso, a minority-owned small business. Each student received a completion certificate and their completion rewards, pictured below. This program was made possible by our individual donors and our lead partners Nordstrom Cares and the City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods. You can view some of the student websites below! Giving Back to the Future 2023
Our main annual community building event is here! Come meet like-minded folks engaged with the mission of STEM/STEAM diversity, learn about STEM/STEAM resources, and have some fun!
WHEN: Sat Sep 23rd 6:30-9:30pm PST (9:30pm-12:30am EST), our annual Giving Back to the Future charity mixer returns in a hybrid in-person + virtual format.
• LIVE DJ: 6:30 - 9:30pm PST
• AUCTION: 6:30 - 8:30pm PST
• TRIVIA: 7:00 - 7:45pm PST
• RAFFLE: 7:00 - 9:00pm PST
WHERE: Online via Zoom, or in-person at Nine Hats Wines located inside SODO Urbanworks in Seattle. it is a COVID-compliant space with an open wall and high ceilings for fresh air flow + outdoor seating.
WHAT: Mixer, networking, DJ, silent auction, raffle, and trivia + more!

Fall 2019 Coder's Club
at Garfield Teen Life Center
Our free after school workshop for beginners was a Success! During the workshop, participants
learned the fundamentals of using a website editor (Wix.com) and used these skills to develop mobile and desktop websites for themselves and for a local small business. Thank you Nevzat's Espresso and Congratulations to all of our participants!!
