Star Tech Global Academy (STGA) is organized for one specific purpose: to increase at-risk and underrepresented youth’s interest, confidence, and participation in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). STGA accomplishes this by providing state of the art STEM Workshops and courses delivered via our innovative Star Tech Fleet of mobile classroom supply vehicles. STGA is a program offered by Renaissance 21, a 501(c)(3) organization. Renaissance 21 and STGA are Black and Female led.
Star Tech Global Academy grew out of the experience of program director Adrienne Pruszynski. Given difficulties in her journey as a Black woman learning STEM, she sought to empower other underrepresented youth as a STEM teacher. However, she found that programs frequently suffered from lack of resources and infrastructure. In response, she decided to found STGA to provide all-in-one, mobile STEM education and support.
This unique approach is able to reach the most resource-strapped communities and generate STEM interest in youth that would otherwise be unable to access available STEM opportunities.
VISION: Increased levels of education, employment, and entrepreneurship in STEM fields for at-risk and underrepresented community members.
MISSION: Deliver comprehensive cutting edge STEM education and support to at-risk and underrepresented youth.
